My 13 year old daughter just started conditioning for her middle school cross country team, she has had about 5 practices. they run about 3miles and then do agility training like wall sits and running up and down steps. Well after her last practice she complained that her ankle was really hurting, that was on a Friday, I had her put ice on it and gave her some Motrin, I thought that her ankle would have time to rest over the weekend because they didn't have practice, and she said it did feel better, but now today (Monday) she had practice and is once again saying her ankle hurts???? I am not sure what to do. What do you think??

It's really hard for me to diagnose the injury, so I am not going to even try.
I will say this... At a young age, you should always error on the side of caution. I would rest it some more and ice like you have been. Perhaps you can talk to the coach and ask if she can bike alongside the runners for a while instead of running.
Maybe she bikes this week, and gives it a shot again next week.
