Super Simple Spaghetti - The Fastest and Easiest Way to Make Spagetti
Making spaghetti is easy, but during my collegiate days I made super simple spaghetti. I wasn't much of a culinary expert those days. I was all about speed. Their are tons of lavish, extravagent, and bold spaghetti recipes out there, but nothing that is as quick as this one. Lets get on with it, shall we. From - David Tiefenthaler
Serves - 2 to 4 people Special Instructions - (super speedy tip) Use hot water from the sink so the water boils faster on the stovetop. Ingredients Thin Spaghetti Noodles - I use whole wheat thin spaghetti noodles, but you can stick with regular noodles if you don't like the taste of whole wheat noodles. Spaghetti Sauce (Optional) Any veggies you want to add to the sauce. Directions Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add noodles to the water. Boil for 8 to 10 minutes. Keep an eye on the noodles because the water has a tendency to boil over if you don't turn it down. You still want the water boiling, but not too much or it will boil bubbles right out of the pot. Drain the water from your noodles. Put noodles on your plate and add cold spaghetti sauce to the pasta. The super hot noodles will heat up the sauce. The sauce will cool off the pasta quick, and your pasta will be near the perfect temperature for eating. See - Super Simple Spaghetti! If you have any vegetables, throw them in the mix too. They won't be cooked, but some crunch in pasta always is nice. I like green peppers or even celery mixed in there. From start to dinner plate, my simple recipe for spaghetti takes less than 20 minutes. It's delicious, nutricious, and great for a runner in a rush.
