Marius Bakken part one - A two time Olympian for his native country of Norway. His PR in the 5000 is an incredible 13:06. Marius is the creator and manager of two fantastic websites - The Running Shoe Wizard, and Marius Bakken's Marathon Training Schedule.
Phong Chieng - A new runner who blogs about his experiences on his website called The Trail Running Blog. Phong ran in high school, and decided after six years of inactivity to start up again while documenting his experiences getting back into shape.
Chris Derrick - Freshman distance runner for Stanford University. The 2007-2008 Gatorade HS Cross Country Runner of the Year. Three Time D1 NCAA All-American in his Freshman year at Stanford.
Sara Hall - A professional distance runner who's best events range from the 5k to the 1500. She was an All American multiple times at Stanford, the 5k U.S. National Champ in 2006, and recently ran a blistering 8:53 in the 3k in 2009.
Tina Haupert - The Carrots 'N' Cake Website Creator. Tina's Food Blog Devoted to a Healthy Balance is filled with wonderful information on food and fitness. She stresses eating healthy, but still enjoying treats in moderation.
Jessica Hoepner - Along with her husband Trae, Jessica owns and operates a running specialty store,
Performance Running Outfitters
in Brookfied, WI. I mention that every runner should visit a running specialty store in their area, and Performance Running Outfitters is by far the best running store in Southeastern Wisconsin. Both Jessica and Trae Hoepner are active runners and high school track and cross country coaches.
Jago Holmes - A Certified Personal Trainier who specializes in working with beginner runners. He is the author of The Couch to 5k Training Program. It is a complete guide from running to a healthy diet. Most of the people who use this plan complete their first 5k in just six weeks.
Weldon Johnson - The Co-Creator and manager of LetsRun.com. This website is the premiere place to find information about all things distance running. In his prime, Weldon was a sub 2:20 marathon runner, and has a PR of 28:06 in the 10K.
Willy Kaul - A Three Time NCAA DC National Champion Distance Runner, and a Thirteen Time All American from UW-Oshkosh. Here's his interesting story on how he started running competitively to how he became so successful in his collegiate career.
Tom Meldrum - An Ultra Marathon Runner who recently won the 2009 Crawley 12 hour race by running just over 75 miles. His next two big races in 2009 include the Faversham 6hr race in July, and the Sri Chinmoy Transcendence 24 Hour Race which takes place in October of 2009.
Mike Mulrooney - Wisconsin High School Cross Country Coach for Hartland Arrowhead (a perennial power in the state of Wisconsin), WCCCA Hall of Fame Member, and a very influential person for me because he is who I ran for in high school.
Kathy Simpson - Kathy Simpson has been running for three years and already has five marathons under her belt. She blogs about her running at KathyRuns.com and discusses running with two of her co-creators at RunTalkRadio.com.
Mark Wetmore - The University of Colorado Head Track and CC Coach. Under Coach Wetmore the Buffaloes have been stampeding their competition in the NCAA. He has coached the men and women to multiple National Championships in CC, and as coached nine different individuals to Track or CC National Championships.

John Zupanc - The head track and cross country coach at UW-Oshkosh. Coach Zupanc has lead his cross country team to victory four times at the Division III NCAA National Championships. This spring, in only his fourth year as the head track coach, UWO won the Division III NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championship.
